World's Fair / Reaction Grid Meeting - Friday, Jan 8

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.

Friday, January 8th is the next meeting on ReactionGrid. The meeting is at 2pm PST in the East upstairs meeting room in the NYC building on 39FairHQ. If you have an interest in the Fair why not stop by. Oh, no Avaitar ... well, that's not a problem. You need to have two things; first the Hippo viewer which you can download for free at http://forge.opensimulator.org/gf/project/opensim-viewer/frs/ and then a FREE account on ReactionGrid which you can get at http://www.reactiongrid.com/Default/Register.aspx

If you have never been in-world it may take a bit to get used to moving, flying, and just getting around, but there are many of us who will happily help you.

Depending on the size of the group, we will try to use Skype to communicate, or simply use the text box ... or both

The goal of this meeting is to attempt to get some commitments for information gathering and building on the Grid. In addition, we'd like to put forth a "game plan" for 2010. Even if you don't want to build, or help with some research, we are always looking for ideas on how to proceed. Trust me... there's a lot to do and a lot of opportunities to learn both about the Fair and the Virtual World.
