The Progress of the Fair

The NCR Building has been added. While the building itself is done, the exhibits have not been added.

For any World's Fair purists, yes we know that what we have is not an exact replica of the building. There are limitations in the Virtual World. Unlike real people, avatars can be 10 feet tall, and they don't "see" through their eyes, they see from an invisible camera that floats behind and above the avatar. So when creating the buildings we need to take some liberties. However, bear in mind that we are trying to capture the essence of the Fair to the best of our abilities.

The inside of the NCR building is bear, we need your help with photos and information of what was on display.

As we continue to build the Fair, it will become a storehouse of information about the history of companies, people, and a time long past. But we also want to offer information on where those companies are today, their products and their vision for tomorrow.

The reconstruction of the 1939 NY World's Fair is only a small part of what is to come on the Reaction Grid. Unlike many of the Virtual Worlds, Reaction Grid is a PG/PG-13 world that is dedicated to education and technology. For more information about Reaction Grid visit www.reactiongrid.com
